Hanoi - Ba Be Lake (2 days)

Ba Be National Park lies in the Tropical Southern China area of the Indo-Malayan Realm. This region is characterised by steep limestone mountains, interspersed by lowland non-limestone areas. The underlying geology of the national park is limestone with topography being strongly separated and comprising many high mountain peaks, steep hill slopes, caves, valleys, streams and rivers. Ba Be Lake, which the national park is centred upon and after which it is named lies at 150m above sea level and the surrounding mountains rise up to 1,098m above sea level. The lake is mainly fed by the Ta Han, Cho Leng rivers and Bo Lu rivers.


Day 1: Ha Noi - Ba Be

Morning: Pick-up at 16 Hang Chinh Street or your hotel is at 7:00 AM and head to Ba Be national park . During the 6 hours drive. We will enjoy superb landscapes with the rice fields in terrace, the paddle wheels in bamboo on the two sides of the road. Have lunch at Cho Chu town.

Afternoon: Upon arrival at Cho Don . Stop to visit Xuan lac village which is belonged to H'mong minority people. We will explore the daily life of the village, see the tough life of local to understand more the local culture.

Continue going by motorbike to Pac Ngoi - a village of Tay ethnic. The Tay lives on fishing, rice and corn cultivation. Their stilt houses with the thatched roofs disperse in the austere surrounding landscapes. Have dinner and overnight at the inhabitant/ hotel.


Day 2: Boating - Return Hanoi

After breakfast, visit Ba Be National Park . Take boat trip to explore Fairy Pond , Horse Temple , Dau Dang waterfalls . Have swim in Ba Be lake before having lunch at the homestay.

Start to go back to Ha Noi in the afternoon. Arrive at Ha Noi around 17:30.
