Hoa Lu former capital
Hoa Lu was the capital of the Dai Viet state in 41 years from 968 to 1009, of which, 12 years under the Dinh dynasty ( Dinh Tien Hoang) and 29 years under the Le dynasty (Le Dai Hanh).
It was home to beautiful and imposing palaces. In 1010 King Ly Thai To transferred the capital to Thang Long (present Hanoi).Through the ups and downs., many building had been ruined.Only a temple dedicated to Le Dai Hanh have been preserved to date. They are located in Truong Yen Thuong village, Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu district. Hoa Lu former capital and two temples dedicated to the Kings are the pride of our nation because they illustrate the time of national building and defence.
Tam Co
From Bich Dong, visitors can go to Tam Coc by waterway and will boat to Ca,Hai, Ba caves ( the first, the second and third) and look at stalactites shining as jade and emerald with various shapes and figures of fossilized creatures.
ITINERARY
DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALONG (L,D)
Arrive in Hanoi international airport. Welcome group at the airport. Transfer to Halong city (about 180 Km from Hanoi to the Northeast direction). Check in hotel. Dinner at restaurant. Free visiting Halong night market or at leisure. Stay at hotel.
DAY 02: HALONG – HANOI (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Take boat to visit the natural beauty of Halong Bay – was reconigzed by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994 for the first time and the second time in 200 for its geomorphic value. with Thien Cung grotto (means Heaven's palace), Wood head cave, Lu Huong islet, The Couple islet. Lunch on boat with seafood. Return to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi. Visit Returned sword lake with legend of Le Loi king, Ngoc Son temple (Jade Hill temple). Dinner at restaurant. See water puppet show- special show found only in Vietnam. Stay at hotel.
DAY 03: HANOI – NINHBINH (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Ninh Binh. Lunch at restaurant with goat meat speciality. Take the small bamboo boat along the narrow canal to visit Tam Coc (three caves)- which is known to travellers as "Halong Bay on land). Here, the huge limestone rock formations just out of the rice paddies instead of the sea. Return to Hanoi. 18:30 P.M arrive in Hanoi. Dinner at the restaurant with Vietnamese tranditional music perfomance. Stay at the hotel.
DAY 04: HANOI DEPARTURE (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (was built in 1975 to commemorate the great leader's life as refomer and "Father of Vietnam". visit President house on still (was the resident of uncle "Ho" from 1959 until he died" was built in the style of Vietnam ethnic minority), One pillar pagoda (mot cot pagoda- its shape likes a lotus flower- an artistical architecture of 11th century). Lunch at restaurant. Free shopping in Trang Tien Plaza until dinner at the restaurant then transfer to the airport for flight to back home. Conclude tour.
